A seasoned aviator and business executive, Jeff Troccolo has extensive expertise in leading organizations through transformation and change. Among many disciplines in aviation, he has managed flight operations; aircraft maintenance and completions; acquisitions and inspections; risk mitigation; fleet planning; safety audit; flight department setup; and financial analysis.
Jeff holds an Airline Transport Pilot license with several turbojet type ratings and has more than 9,000 flight hours, including extensive international experience in midsized, super midsized and large cabin aircraft under FAR Parts 91 and 135.
In 1990, while working on his undergraduate degree, Jeff began to pursue his private pilot’s license. Shortly thereafter, he attended Comair Aviation Academy and earned his commercial, multi-engine land, instrument airplane, certified flight instructor and advanced ground instructor certificates.
While working as full-time flight instructor, Jeff developed his leadership skills by managing flight instructors, developing new training curriculums and organizing the process in which students moved through the training program, saving both training time and money.
In 1996, Jeff entered the business aviation industry as a research analyst for an aircraft sales company. During this time, he supplied valuable aircraft research to help navigate complex sales transactions.
He later took on progressively higher roles as a Part 91 flight department leader, moving from captain to chief pilot to director of flight operations. In addition to his flight-related duties, he became responsible for managing operational, financial and maintenance functions, along with developing and instituting best practices, policies and procedures.
Jeff Troccolo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Meteorology from Western Connecticut State University and a Master of Aeronautical Science in Aerospace Operations and Management with Distinction from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
